Guess what the new pre-mades going to be?
Think...what are some standardized builds used by top guilds now?
1. Mo/Me Boon Protector (or boon prot for short)
2. W/E The Shock Executioner
3. R/W Bunny Thumper (thumper for short)
4. R/N Touch Ranger
Anyone can add to the list? I think these 4 builds is going to be the new premade builds

Probably stuff suited for RA-HA skill level play. Boon prot for sure, maybe a rit lord spirit spammer, burn/surger...

EW are helping with the builds, so I wouldn't expect too many FotM premades. Especially terrible ones like touch rangers.

I'd just as soon vote for which ones to be removed. Of course, 98% will vote for the mighty Paladin, the 2% opposed being those who play it :-/ Replacing the Paladin with the Shock Trooper would be a godsend, since it would teach energy management due to exhaustion, when to use Frenzy and when to cancel it, adrenaline spike, and -gasp- rez sig and heal sig! You know, things a new player needs to understand, as opposed to giving him Mending and Healing Hands on his first premade warrior.
I'd really hate to see touch ranger as a premade. Rit spirit spammer might make it, but only if there isn't a nerf planned for Ritual Lord. Bunny Thumper is a really fun build to play, and extremely devastating when you're in an aggressive group. Booner, for sure, until a more potent means of healing is someday discovered. Chances are there won't be.

Yup, those are the reasons why boon prot is the first on my list!
btw, kvndoom...when you said booner, it looks like you said boner...

I expect the Spirit spammer "Retreat" Ritualist, unless that is just a bug. It seems that "Retreat" also works for dead spirits.

Arrrgh, just what exactly is an "ally" defined as in this game? It's probably a bug that will be fixed, but still-
IWAY- pets are allies, spirits are not (though I believe they used to be)
Retreat- spirits are allies, pets are not
what about minions? Do they trigger one or the other or both?

The Paladin is actually far and away the best premade at the moment, though that's not saying much.

The whole problem with the prebuilds is that the game changes while the builds do not. In v1.0 of Guild Wars, the Paladin was a solid concept. Basically anything that died, the paladin would rez, and not die while doing so because of his health regeneration. Then the second guy to log into Guild Wars (the guy with the Paladin being the first) brought an interrupt and the Paladin suddenly sucked. The End.

Anyone can go to the premade Paladin and do decently well with no knowledge of the game. Maybe thats what they want, they want the new player to succeed and think that maybe they can make it in the game and if they havent already, go out and buy a copy of it. But who knows.

I would expect pretty much what JR- said and probably two more warriors one being a Devastating Hammer warrior and the other one being a Dragon Slash or "Charge!" Warrior.
It would also be nice if the premades incldued all the runes necessary as well as the weapons and mods.

Actually, there is already a premade with Devastating Hammer (abominable snowman I think it's called) and I doubt they'd make two...

Maybe if some people like this guy had READ about the contest a while ago giving everyone the oportunity to get their build noticed, there wouldnt be this thread. They arent making them, theyre choosing ones that people send them. GG nubs.

I don't mind seeing 1-3, but not 4.
LoL I remeber back when I got guild wars(13 months ago) the Paladin was actually good Mending ftw!!!!
I wouldn't be suprised if an Iway war was added to be honest
